1). Choosing a topic, we first had to look into something we were interested in. I was interested in doing something that had to do with paroles. I wanted to help them be able to find a job while they are on probation and to possibly lower the recidivism rate. 2). We then began our research and had to make a fact sheet.
3). I wrote a letter to Governor Jerry Brown trying to convince him to make change and possibly help the paroles find a job.
4). I didn't receive any responses.
5). We had to write a "less" formal letter targeted to whichever company of our choice. I wrote mines to Forever 21.
6). We had to find a group member to work with to create a 99 second I-Movie. We spent a lot of time recording our voice and trying to make the appropriate edits needed to make it sound convincing.
7). It was a very hard and time consuming process to find the right images to match our audio and it was also very difficult editing every single one of them.
8). My partner and I edited our video to the extreme. There were times where we wanted to give up very badly because we were so far behind, but we pulled through and edited very hard by matching the pictures with the audio and making sure the timing was on point.
9). Chris Mutter then helped us post our video on to Youtube so that any one else can view it.
Reflection
1). The most valuable thing I learned from this project is too never give up no matter how frustrating things might get because you never know what the outcome might be.
2). Something that I did that helped me be successful during this project is that I was a very helpful group member.
3). Advice that I would give to students for the future is to really edit your images spend a lot o time on that and don't slack off because time is very precious.
4). Our teachers were very supportive and helpful, if we needed them they would be there in a heart beat.
