Project Description: Making these infographics, it was a very large process. I first chose my topic which I wanted to do on friendship because friendship is something I value a lot. We spent time choosing questions so that we could make a survey with over one hundred questions for our peers. One of my questions were asking if they were new to the High Tech System. The reason I asked this was to see if the people who were new to High Tech, were making friends also. We spent many time graphing our data using bar charts, histograms and compared box plots Those are all the different ways you can represent your data. After we did that, we analyzed all of it displaying our three observations visually on an infographic. Description of Observations: After I gathered my data, I made a lot of cool observations. Both new students and old students were making friends! I also noticed that most people felt very positive about their friends. Only a few people felt on the negative side. From that data, I plan to keep making sure that people are feeling included and making new friends each day!
Angry Birds Project For the Angry Bird project we were required to work with our group members to make a launcher, projectile, and also a structure. The purpose of my component was to be able to be launched 15 ft to destroy the structure. The component I was required to work on was the projectile. The projectile is an object that would be launched 15ft. The object could be anything you like, you just had too make sure you met the requirements. My object was an Angry Bird with sand inside, wrapped around with duct tape. I talked too Benjamin, the launcher, and asked him how heavy I should make the projectile because if it was too heavy, his launcher wouldn't be able to launch it. Our group worked very well together, we helped each other out on our components and we whenever we seen each other about to give up we encouraged each other too keep trying. There wasn't any tricks that we had to learn. The energy from the projectile was used too knock down the structure we built out of wood scraps.
