For the Into The Wild project in our Humanities class, I and the rest of my classmates spent a month reading the book Into The Wild by Jack London which was about a young man named Christopher McCandless' who gives up everything he has to survive in the wild. After we read the book, we were put into groups of 4 and those were the individuals we would be creating our Into The Wild Books with. After that whole process was done, we went on a trip in the blazing hot desert all the way out in Anza Borrego. During this trip I learned many things. We learned how to build compasses, soda can stoves and also headlamps.
Something I am most proud of is the fact that our whole team was able to create a bond that will never be broken. There isn't really anything I would like to change about this trip because everything that happened was amazing and a one in a lifetime experience.
